Requester Code of Conduct

To ensure a fair, professional, and efficient experience for all parties, Requesters on The Cyber Exchange are expected to uphold the following standards:

1. Clarity and Honesty: 
—Provide clear, accurate project details, timelines, and expectations. 
—Disclose all relevant requirements to ensure fair competition.

2. Responsiveness:
—Respond promptly to provider questions, proposals, or clarification requests.
—Notify providers if your project is postponed or canceled.

3. Respect and Professionalism:
—Treat providers with professionalism and respect throughout the engagement.
—Offer feedback constructively and in good faith.

4. Platform Integrity:
—Do not engage in off-platform agreements to bypass fees.
—Do not use the platform to solicit work without intent to hire.

5. Compliance with Law:
Requesters must comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and international laws, including export control, sanctions, privacy, and cybersecurity laws applicable to their projects.

6. Confidentiality:
—Respect the confidentiality of provider proposals and communications.
—Do not share sensitive proposal or profile information outside authorized personnel

7. Intellectual Property:
Requesters shall not use, copy, distribute, or incorporate provider work product except as authorized by the parties' written agreement.

The Cyber Exchange reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to investigate violations and issue warnings, suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate accounts.
